Pastor's Biography – Apostle Henry E. Udomon
Apostle Henry E. Udomon is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life and Living Word Deliverance Ministries.
Before the call into ministry, he served as an Okada rider for several years in Lagos, holding firmly to the dignity of labour according to Exodus 18:20:
“And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.”
Following a fire incident that destroyed all his properties and rendered his family homeless, he relocated to Ibafo, Ogun State. It was in Ibafo that the long-denied call came with a fresh fire anointing, marked by serious and intense divine encounters.
THE DIVINE MANDATE
As it happened to the disciples in John 20:19, the Master appeared to him with clear instructions: “I gave you these messages. If you go by them, I will work and walk with you.” He gave him a four-fold mandate:
1. PREACH SOUND MESSAGE: 2 Timothy 1:13 (KJV)
“Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.”
2. PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Psalm 22:22 (KJV)
“I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.”
3. PRAYERS: Luke 21:36 (KJV)
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
4. PROPHECY:
The instruction was clear: “If there is prophecy, speak. If not, close the service for the day.” With the promise: I will back up the ministry with signs and wonders.
FURTHER DIVINE CONFIRMATION
In fervent pursuit of the calling, God gave further confirmations. Three women came into his compound asking for him. With a strange demeanor, they sat on the floor in the parlour, singing and clapping their hands. When he went in to meet them, they told him pointedly that he should commence the ministry without delay. After delivering the message, they walked out together, but in a moment, they disappeared. From that time till now, he has never seen people like them again.
THE COVENANT
God entered into a covenant of life and peace with him and all those associated with the ministry:
Ezekiel 16:62
“And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.”
Numbers 25:12
“Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace.”
Psalm 91:16
“With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.”
To the glory of God, this covenant stands fulfilled.
MINISTRY BACKGROUND
Before founding the ministry, he faithfully served as a member of:
- Divine Encounter Evangelical Ministry, Lagos
- Glory in Zion, now Sanctuary of Judah
- Assemblies of God
He is married to Mrs. Iniobong Henry E. Udomon and they are blessed with children.
